My one problem with Munkres as a reference: it is severely lacking with respect to manifolds and differential topology, even in their most basic form. Inspired by ideas from differential geometry and classical mechanics, Hamiltonian Monte Carlo (HMC) is an efficient alternative to popular approximation techniques like Gibbs sampling. All vertices of any feature class that participates in a topology can potentially be moved if they fall within the x,y tolerance of another vertex.

With the intrinsic point of view it is harder to define the central concept of curvature and other structures such as connections, so there is a price to pay Analytical topology Arguably, one of the original motivations of the entire field of topology was to characterize continuity in very general terms. This is achieved by the above definition, which looks natural only after years of proper mathematical training.. , source: Induced representations and Banach *-algebraic bundles (Lecture notes in mathematics ; 582) The construction of higher dimensional expanders is yet another promising direction. Inspired by the rich theory of graph expanders and drawing on the techniques of combinatorial algebraic topology, the goal is to design high-dimensional simplicial complexes with strong connectivity properties. Because coordinates can move in both x and in y by as much as the cluster tolerance, many potential problems can be resolved by processing datasets with commands that use the cluster tolerance. Collar lemma for Hitchin representations. There is a classical result first due to Keen known as the collar lemma for hyperbolic surfaces.
