This survey course introduces MPH students to social and behavioral sciences within the context of public health scholarship, research, and practice. The postdoctoral scholar will help design a common data platform for powering social change in Southern California, evaluate innovative efforts, and develop grant proposals for external funding. Readings explore the socio-political context for the creation of women's art. Fellows will be required to teach one course during the year, and will be expected to engage with the Canada Program and with the University's wider community.
